Make a donation

As a SBC church we are an autonomous church and are responsible for our own finances.  We operate solely on the contributions of our church members and guest.  The Bible has strong instructions on giving and tithing.  Our church also has a number of giving opportunities.  From our own special offerings for the Building & Grounds fund, to the Christmas and Easter offerings through the SBC.  On a monthly basis we contribute a portion of our offerings to our local association of Baptist Churches, the Tryon-Evergreen Baptist Association, located in Conroe, Tx.

In our church we have offerings bowls on both sides of the sanctuary where members and guest will leave their donations.  Our church treasure takes care of all tithes and offerings.  A record is kept so that those that give can receive a report at the end of the year for their total offerings to help them as they start to work on their taxes.
 
Often there may be a member of the church, a local person, and other friends of the church that will make a one time donation.  Many times these donations are designated to be be used in a particular ministry of the church.  We always do the best job possible to honor the wishes of a doner.
